Designing a new settings framework for the most complicated, neglected part of the Mindbody B2B platform. We introduced new ways for customers to navigate and learn; introducing search for returning users, while vastly improving the onboarding experience. Settings-related support cases fell 38% year over year.
Settings was where two decades of platform complexity became most visible and painful, especially for onboarding customers..
We introduced search to speed up existing customers, a browsable side-navigation that supported progressive disclosure, along with a much deeper set of context and guidance for new users to learn about Mindbody with.
I also worked directly in code, shipping motion details + UI polish to speed up and improve what shipped.
