I redesigned how studios set up their appointments in Mindbody. The nested, click-heavy overview became a flat table, editing moved into a new side panel, and I found a way to make pricing work the way owners expect without rebuilding the data model underneath it.

Appointment setup is where studios build the menu their clients book from. Mindbody had two competing overviews for it, both shaped by the data model more than by how owners think about their services. As the only designer on the squad, I pushed a like-for-like modernization brief into four bigger changes.

Every category now opens by default, since the median studio has just seven appointments. Duration and online visibility, two things owners reach for constantly, moved out of the edit form and into the table. Pricing and staff edits happen in a side panel without leaving the page, and I designed a way for pricing to link across categories on its own, turning what used to be an hour on a call with support into a search and a click.
